Good morning, Vietnam. We’re going back to our roots and putting some pep in your step with this rich blend of wild black tea from Ha Giang. Careful now, you just might become a morning person.
Tasting Notes: malt, chocolate
Ingredients: wild black tea
Caffeine level: medium to high
I was a coffee addict for years when I found Paru and these teas helped me kick the habit. The Saigon Breakfast has a beautiful mild fragrance unlike any other black tea I've tried. It's not too dark or astringent, which I love! And, of course, I don't get the energy crash like I do with coffee. The flavor reminds me of caramel...DELICIOUS! Truly an enjoyable experience with every cup. I love to drink it plain or add a tiny splash of milk and coconut sugar.
This shouldn’t be called Saigon Breakfast. It should be called ‘Sigh Gone Breakfast’ because its deliciousness makes sad things disappear. Great flavor that compliments a lot of different breakfast foods!
I originally received a small sample of this from the beautiful new years envelopes from Anie Quynh and just fell in love. Its a lovely taste and my favorite way to enjoy it is with milk and brown sugar. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice black tea. Its great to enjoy as is and easy to switch it up by just adding some milk and sugar.
My favorite tea blend for the mornings
Great tasting tea! One of my favorites from PARU for sure.
