Made with classic Japanese green tea from Shizuoka, Japan, and dried fruit, this subtly sweet blend offers an aroma reminiscent of freshly cut pineapple. Stir up memories of your favorite warm holiday when you enjoy it as a cold brew. To do so, steep in filtered water for six hours or overnight.
Ingredients: green tea, dried papaya, natural oil
Caffeine level: Moderate
I love it's smell and refreshing taste. Perfect for these humid summer days.
My go to tea. It’s not sweet, just a tasty yet subtle fruit complementing the smooth nutty & earthiness of the Sencha. Giving it a rounder mouth feel. If I let the tea steep longer than the recommended time it only gets better; no tannic sharpness that happens with many green teas. Actually Paru’s quality of green teas exceeds all others. I find Amy’s selection of teas withstand over-steeping.
I think this company has converted me into liking tea! The pineapple sencha smells SO lovely and tastes really nice too. Thanks PARU Team!
All of the teas I've tried are awesome, but the Pineapple Sencha is my go-to. It's a perfect amount of caffeine for my highly sensitive self. Added bonus for the scent of the steam when it's steeping. That may be my favorite part, actually. Try it!
