Gong Fu Cha ("making tea with great skill") is a traditional, meditative, and elegant way to prepare, enjoy, and share tea. The main brewing vessel is a gaiwan, or lidded bowl, but there are a few other tools that'd we recommend to help you practice your technique.
You'll immediately notice the difference when steeping green, oolong, and dark teas with a gaiwan. You will get more flavor and can steep the leaves multiple times, allowing you to follow and appreciate the pace and journey of the tea.
