About Yixing teapots
Yixing teapots were the first teapots designed for brewing tea. For many tea enthusiasts, it is considered the choice vessel for everyday sipping. Not only was it made to withstand high temperatures, but its porous surface also absorbs the natural oils of the tea liquor. Over time and consistent use, the layer will contribute to future brewing sessions in terms of aroma and flavors.
Each teapot is partially handcrafted (a mold is used at the start for structure) and may appear slightly different than the photo.
Instructions
Steep the same type of tea in your teapot (for example, only pu’er). Rinse daily or in between uses with water, without soap.
