This oolong is an absolute gem. When you smell the dry leaves, you can barely get a hint of the flavor. But as soon as you pour hot water over them, they release a warm, sweet, creamy, and slightly nutty aroma. The flavor of the tea is perfectly cozy. It gives me the same comforting feel I get from hojicha. The flavor is mild, there is no bitter notes or sharp notes. But don't let mild scare you off. It is absolutely robust and well-rounded, in a very gentle way. 10/10.

A wonderful dark oolong! I found some similarities to Suzuki's Wakoucha as almost a lighter black tea. Very different than the lighter Oolongs like Tieguanyin, but delicious.
