Saturday, April 19 - Pop-Up: Japanese Tea Ceremony Textiles
From Kyoto, Kitamura Tokusai’s family has been making chanoyu (“the way of tea”) textiles since 1712. Browse, make a purchase in store, or place a special order for your tea utensils. No Japanese tea ceremony experience required—just an appreciation for the craft is enough. Stop by anytime between 11–4, and use the button below to let us know you're coming!

HOUSE-MILLED CEREMONIAL MATCHA 32
Every week, we produce a limited number of 30 g tins of our signature house-milled matcha.
We source hand-picked tea leaves from Kyoto (this matcha is made from a blend of the Okumidori and Samidori cultivars) and mill it fresh in our shop using our custom ishi usu (石臼, Japanese for "stone mill"). It takes about an hour to make enough for each tin, which is why we produce so few. The flavor profile is savory, nutty, and smooth.

Because finding good tea is like discovering a hidden gem.
We continue to offer pouches of loose leaf tea, matcha powder, and teaware for purchase in store and online. While we don’t serve drinks on-site, we’re happy to help you find new favorites to enjoy at home.
