10K is crafted from tencha grown alongside mountains and rivers in Kyoto, a prefecture known for its rich cultural history and matcha production. Only the highest quality samidori leaves are chosen and carefully blended by tea master Masa, resulting in a ceremonial-grade matcha with balanced character and a sweet finish.

Note: Name drawn from Kyoto's nickname, "the city of 10,000 shrines."

10k ceremonial grade

I personally like the 10k ceremonial grade more than the house milled. It does not have a grassy after taste and is very smooth like buttah. It’s my go to brand to make my daily matcha lattes with oat milk every morning.

Excellent quality

This is a very good matcha that reminds me of matcha I had in Kyoto. It is a very bright green color which speaks to its freshness and it is ground very fine making preparations easy and silky smooth. It has a slight sweet finish over woodsy/grassy aroma and I prefer it prepared hot with water, no extras or lattes, although I am sure it would work well with either.
