The golden turmeric and rouge sappan wood emulate dragon’s breath and the colors of Lunar New Year (also called Tết or Chinese New Year). Native to Southeast Asia and India, among other places, sappan wood is best known for its dying properties but can also be enjoyed as an earthy drink. Pair with bánh chưng, a Vietnamese sticky rice dish.
