Oribe-yaki, also known as oribe ware, is renowned for its glaze, featuring gem and emerald-like colors.
The larger size of this wide and deep shape of the katakuchi (lipped bowl) allows to do easy pouring of the matcha and/or to serving over to make matcha lattes. It’s generous capacity also can portion up to two servings of matcha.
Please note that each chawan is handmade so the designs and sizes may vary, adding a unique touch to each piece. Additionally, these chawans come with a paper box for convenient storage. Limited quantity available.
