絞り出し or Shiboridashi can be translated to "squeeze out" in reference to how the teapot squeezes out every last drop of tea from the leaves inside. The included 湯冷まし or Yuzamashi is meant to cool the water before use. When brewing gyokuro, the low-profile design paired with the cooler water temperature allows for richer, bolder infusions without the fear of burning oneself.
