Hojicha is roasted green tea beloved for its nutty, cocoa-like flavor profile. To make this tea, our farm partner slowly roasted sencha over charcoal. Due to the high temperatures used in this process and because of the inclusion of twigs and stems, hojicha is naturally low in caffeine.
