Only the highest quality buds and leaves—one bud and two leaves—are picked from trees that are believed to be five hundred years old before being sun dried and charcoal roasted.

With a mouthfeel of spring-water clarity, this Assam pu’er is a brew steeped with complexity, yet does impart a grounding experience. Its initial brightness reminiscent of ripe pear highlights a flavor profile awash with the earthy vegetal of fresh shiitake and bok choy.
Pu’er has always lended itself to sublime experiences for me, and sheng in particular plays the most important role in my tea life, as of late. I feel only gratitude for this delectable tea.
