This tea-based salt-and-pepper seasoning is our version of a Southeast Asian five-spice powder. Recommended on barbecued and/or savory foods such as mushrooms, tofu, seafood, and more for a smoky, hearty twist. Hand-blended in small batches at the PARU Tea Lab, San Diego, CA

Ingredients: Lapsang souchong (black tea), organic cinnamon, organic fennel, organic cloves, organic star anise, organic white pepper, organic black pepper

Great addition to my spice rack!

This spice is so unique! I smelt it in the store and was captivated by how deep it smelt. I’m vegan so I’ve only tried it on tofu but is was BOMB. If you like tea, new flavors, and creativity try this stuff! (And send me your recipes 😉)
