About this experience

We will be adding more dates soon. In the meantime, walk-ins will be available during store hours on a first-come, first-served basis except when a private tea experience is in progress.

During this casual experience, a seasoned tea host will prepare guests a bowl of hand-whisked matcha. Whether you’re new to tea or a longtime tea drinker, this experience is for you. Each experience may last 10–20 minutes, depending on how many guests join in.

Pricing & Reservations. Each chawan experience is priced at $10/person. A limited number of online reservations and day-of walk-ins will be available with all reservations being taken on a first come, first served basis. Each listed date will have time slots available throughout the day. 

Guest Arrival. Each chawan experience will start promptly at each scheduled time with a 10-minute grace period before reserved seats will be made available for day-of walk-ins. Reservations will not be refunded for day-of no shows and late arrivals after the 10-minute grace period.

Free street parking is available along and around Girard Avenue.

Encouraging a Digital-Free Zone. During each session, we recommend keeping Bow Hall a digital-free zone. There will be time following the experience for guests to take pictures if desired.

Changes to Your Reservation. Adjustments and cancellations will be honored up to 24 hours before the reserved date.

If you are feeling sick or unwell, please protect yourself and others by staying home. Your reservation may be rescheduled to a future date.
