This event will take place at The Den on Laurel located at 205 Laurel St. Suite 104
Visiting professional Shizuoka chef Chikako of Le Monde Fujigaya, a pioneering woman-owned restaurant in Shizuoka, Japan with a focus in European Cuisine and teppanyaki. Chef Chikako will be preparing a tasting menu of Suruga cuisine utilizing tea from Shizuoka with San Diego seasonal ingredients.
PARU founder and tea sommelier, Amy Truong will prepare a variety of tea from our tea farm partners in Shizuoka to create an experience for guests to experience different facets of the world of Shizuoka tea.
Table ware and vessels will be artfully curated and interpretation by Ai Kanazawa of Entoten.
