To celebrate the season of autumn, we’re hosting our first salon gathering with Ai Kanazawa of Entoten, who will be offering a pop-up shop featuring handcrafted works by Japanese artisans. Each piece carries the quiet beauty of daily use and is available to take home and make your own.
We’ll also be sharing a “toast” with BALMUDA, using their moonkettle to brew our Baked Corn Hojicha, a comforting handcrafted blend we’re welcoming back for the season.
This event will be held next to PARU. Our salon is not open daily, but will come to life on special occasions for thoughtfully curated gatherings and experiences.

Amy Truong has over a decade of experience in food, wellness, and culinary operations. Amy is a Certified TAC Tea Sommelier® and a certificate holder specializing in Japanese tea from the Global Japanese Tea Association. Amy founded PARU in 2017 and actively contributes to the preservation of Japanese tea culture as a board member of Tankokai Urasenke San Diego.
